Founded by Pia Cotter, this small-scale flower farm and design studio focuses on growing beautiful seasonal blooms, creating arrangements that are as breathtakingly unique as the couples she designs for. Perfect for couples who love nature-inspired, vibrant florals and want their wedding flowers to feel personal, meaningful, and full of life.
All the flowers we’ve been dreaming of are beginning to bloom as spring arrives, soft petals, delicate scents, and colours that feel full of life. With these beautiful blooms come the incredible floral artists who bring them to life in the most magical ways.
We’re so lucky to have such talented florists in our area, each with their own unique style, story, and heart behind their work. What better time than spring to celebrate them?
I’ve reached out to some of my local favourites to learn more about their journey and the artistry that inspires them. I truly believe there’s something special about finding vendors whose values and vision align with yours, people who just get the feeling you want for your day. It’s about more than simply comparing quotes or picking whoever is available; the right fit brings a sense of ease and trust that makes the whole experience more meaningful and joy-filled.
My hope is that this guide will help you discover the florist who feels like the perfect match to bring your wedding day or celebration to life.
So, let’s meet these wonderful businesses and hear their answers to a few heartfelt questions.
And if you’re still piecing together your dream team of vendors or need support in creating a cohesive, beautifully styled and coordinated day, I’d love to help. Together, we can bring your vision to life and make sure every detail, from flowers to furniture, feels like you.
I wouldn't say I necessarily have a signature style as I enjoy a challenge and to try something new and different. However, I do love to work with the natural form and shapes of flowers, drawing on how they would look in a natural setting when designing.
How would you describe your signature style?
Consider your florist as an artist, as silly as that might sound to some. Look at their previous work and if it's something you resonate with and decide on who you work with from there. Then give your florist the opportunity to work with you and come up with a design plan and floral vision that fits in your budget. Budgets are obviously super important, but comparing one quote to another expecting the same result probably isn't realistic, as each florist will have a unique way of thinking and designing.
What’s one piece of advice you’d love every couple to know before planning their wedding flowers?

Fermanagh Florals is a haven where nature, nostalgia, and romance intertwine. Drawing inspiration from her grandparents' enchanting garden, Erin crafts bespoke floral designs that are as heartfelt as they are beautiful. Each arrangement is a reflection of her deep love for flowers and the stories they tell.
The farm, named Fermanagh after County Fermanagh in Ireland, carries a rich history and strong Irish roots, which Erin honours in every bloom she cultivates. With a commitment to sustainability, Erin grows many of her flowers on the family farm, ensuring that every bouquet carries a piece of history and a touch of magic. Her designs are not just flowers, they're memories in the making.
Ideal for couples seeking romantic, seasonal blooms with a nostalgic, heartfelt feel and a florist who treats every detail with care.
I’m often asked what my “signature style” is, and truthfully, I’m still exploring that. But if I had to describe it, I’d say it’s romantic, seasonal, and always guided by the flowers. I grow many of the flowers I use on my own flower farm Fermanagh, and I love supporting other local growers too. Everything I create is rooted in the natural rhythm of the seasons. You’ll often find me working with delicate, flowers like tulips, ranunculus, dahlias and garden roses which are all grown on my farm. I’m drawn to soft, whimsical florals, the kind that feel like they’ve just been gathered from a garden. I often harvest with someone special in mind. Whether for a couple or a loved one, which brings a quiet, personal touch to my work. I also love vintage treasures like vases and styling pieces that add a sense of magic and nostalgia. Yes, you can hire them. My style blends practical magic with vintage charm.
How would you describe your signature style?
Think of your flowers as an investment. They set the atmosphere of your celebration and they are captured as memories by your photographer. They should reflect you, not just a Pinterest trend. I draw inspiration from color palettes, the seasons, and my farm to create florals that feel personal. Whether it's an heirloom chrysanthemum from your grandmother’s garden or a Mr. Lincoln rose from your partner, weave those meaningful touches into your wedding flowers.
What’s one piece of advice you’d love every couple to know before planning their wedding flowers?
Authenticity always. I love when couples make bold, personal choices, whether it's electric blue florals or pavlova instead of traditional cake. The most unforgettable celebrations feel true to you, not just trends. Flowers, food, music, styling, make it yours.

The newest kid on the block! There’s a new florist in town, and I’m so excited to share them with you!
Weeds is bringing a fresh, modern energy to Warrnambool’s wedding scene. Describing their work as “floristry with a bit of edge, a bit of romance, and a whole lot of heart,” their designs are bold, unexpected, and endlessly inspiring.
Meg from Weeds creates florals that don’t just decorate a space, they set the mood and tell a story. If you’re dreaming of wedding flowers that feel modern, artful, and uniquely you, this is a name to know .Perfect for couples who love bold, sculptural designs, playful textures, and aren’t afraid to bring a little edge and personality to their wedding florals
My Signature style would be described as fun and sculptural! I love working with bright colours and contrasting textures. Flowers have a short lifespan and I want to create unique arrangements that really capture that. I work very seasonally and am drawn to the exciting quirky things that are not often showcased. I also really like to build on form with different shapes.
How would you describe your signature style?
For all the pre-weds out there, my advice is - GET PINTEREST! It is so much fun to digitally make a scrapbook of everything that inspires you and speaks to you for whatever reason. Your wedding should be fun and not a cookie cutter of the last one that you have been fed on Instagram. Get kooky with it and let your freak flag fly. Interpretation can be a tricky thing, so when you have an image reference it is easier for your florist to really make your vision come to life! It is YOUR day after all, so don't be afraid to show it.
What’s one piece of advice you’d love every couple to know before planning their wedding flowers?
Textures! I am obsessssssed with the grasses this season. Bending, folding, weaving, there is soooo much to learn from the past traditions of this nation and beyond! I hope people are paying respect to that! I am also a sucker for en masse weddings. Going hard on only a few types of flowers, always chic.

How would you describe your signature style?
I would suggest to couples to have what they want and not follow trends. Make it personal to yourselves as the couple rather than having what everyone else is.
What’s one piece of advice you’d love every couple to know before planning their wedding flowers?
I would love to see more vibrant colours and some different varieties of flowers rather than the common ones. Give us as your florist a challenge.
With Love & Organisation, Sophie xx
